MLK: The Dreamer

:: ::

Martin Luther King is regarded as one of the most significant leaders in U.S. history because of his involvement in the civil rights movement. He is notably known for his famous speech “I have a dream”. Today we will examine Biblically the dream. Was his dream of the Lord, or did he further help enslave us? He was commonly regarded as a man of the Lord, because of his doctoral studies in systematic theology at Boston University. Therefore many called him by the title “Reverend” and attended his Baptist church.

If he was a man of the Lord and a teacher of the Bible what was his duty? Malachi 2:7 “For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.” His duty was to teach the laws of the most High to our people that are the lost sheep of Israel. This way they might understand why they were suffering since the days of slavery. Isaiah 5:13 “Therefore my people are gone into captivity [slavery], because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.” Our people are suffering oppression and slavery because they have no knowledge of the laws and the men we look up to as honorable are also famished.

Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:…” Not having knowledge of the laws of God caused our people to be destroyed mentally and physically. It continues to say in Hosea 4:6 “…because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me:…” Instead of being taught the true heritage and duty that we are required by God to succeed in everything in life, (see Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 and Joshua 1:8) we were taught systematic theology. What was the knowledge that was rejected and continues to be rejected in our communities? Hosea 4:6 “…seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” The laws, is the knowledge that is forgotten among our people. As a result the efforts that were supposed to help liberate our people from oppression DID NOT work! Since our children are forgotten by God and it is easily seen in their education, broken homes, imprisonments, poverty, self hatred, police brutality, and lack of hope. Therefore they turn to drugs and gangs; among many other hurtful things.

Isaiah 9:16 “For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.” Dr. King caused our people to err, by teaching them false doctrines such as he learned in his theological studies. Which teach corruption by leading our people away from their heritage; that is their nationality, faith, laws, and mercy. Systematic theology is a methodical way of oppressing us by making us lose focus in the true goal that God has set before us. None of the prophets that taught the good news of true freedom went through theological or seminary schools. They instead were guided by the Holy Spirit (the scriptures) to a message that promotes salvation. James 1:25 “But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.”

How can the laws taught by Moses, the prophets, and Jesus Christ give liberty? It will free you from mental slavery that causes sin and a destructive life. Luke 4:17 “And there was delivered unto him [Jesus Christ] the book of the prophet Esaias [Isaiah]. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,” Verse 18: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel [good news] to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives [slaves], and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,” The message found within the Bible is good news for the poor, those of our people that need healing of a broken heart, also physical healing of diseases! It is the message of salvation to those that were enslaved of how they will be set at liberty. Did Doctor King heal our people of mental sicknesses or teach them how they will really get true liberty? Was his message the same as Christ? Did he open the Bible to teach our people of true freedom?

Our people suffered much violence during his lifetime and they believed they could resolve the issues of this country by marching and protesting. Where in the Bible are we instructed to do this? As a “Reverend” shouldn’t he have counseled with the word of the Lord? Isaiah 30:1 “Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:”

The answers to our people’s problems are found in the Bible. But Dr. King sought instead politics and philosophies of men. Proverbs 16:7 “When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.” This is the answer Dr. King should have given to those that sought him, to keep the commandments. Therefore they will be pleasing the heavenly Father and in turn the Father would make their enemies to be at peace with them.

The governments established on this earth are controlled by God. Romans 13:1 “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers [governments]. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.” Since the Heavenly Father ordained them, he explained how we could succeed in our exile. Romans 13:3 “For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:” If we have good works (keep the laws) the rulers of this world would do you no harm. He would not permit it, instead those same rulers will give you good praise as it happened in past generations. Like with our forefathers that were enslaved and returned to their heritage.

Nehemiah 9:2 “And the seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers, and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers.” The law of God instructs us to not mingle or inter-marry with the other nations, as the righteous leaders of the Bible, Nehemiah and Ezra. They separated themselves from all the nations and repented of their sins and kept the law in their time of liberty. Likewise our leaders should have instructed us. Did God prosper Nehemiah and Ezra who followed his commandments? Ezra 7:6 “This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him.” The prophet Ezra was honored by a foreign king because he taught and kept the laws; Artaxerxes king of the Persians gave them freedom and many riches.

Ezra 7:12 “Artaxerxes, king of kings, unto Ezra the priest, a scribe of the law of the God of heaven, perfect peace, and at such a time.” Verse 13: “I make a decree [the king wrote a law for his government], that ALL they of the people of Israel, and of his priests and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee.” The king granted to “ALL Israel freedom to return to their land. Ezra 7:14 “Forasmuch as thou art sent of the king, and of his seven counsellors, to enquire concerning Judah and Jerusalem, according to the law of thy God which is in thine hand;” Verse 15: “And to carry the silver and gold, which the king and his counsellors have freely offered unto the God of Israel, whose habitation is in Jerusalem,”

Today many uphold the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King of racial integration. Therefore we have many of our people that have sinned by marrying strange wives/husbands of the other nations (read, Deuteronomy 7:1-6). A question that should come to our mind is, did God ever want racial assimilation for our people? From the beginning God separated the nations; Deuteronomy 32:8 “When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when HE separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.” Verse 9: For the LORD’S portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.” Has he changed his mind?

Daniel chapter 2 speaks of the strength and weakness of the last kingdom before the coming of Christ. Daniel 2:41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.” Verse 42: “And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.” Verse 43: “And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

The dream of Dr. King will never be fulfilled according to the word of the Lord. For this kingdom America is that kingdom that shall be divided. It is partly strong because of its military might (the iron) yet it is partly broken because of the mingling of the people (the miry clay). The nations will not cleave one to another, just like you can’t mix iron with clay (mud)! Moreover his dream caused our people no longer to be a nation that obeyed God. Psalms 106:35 “But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.” Verse 36: “And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.” Verse 37: “Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,” By his doctrine he removed from us the opportunity to rebuild ourselves as did Ezra. Our children now are a sacrifice to the devilish ways that they learn from those that enslaved them. They are snared (trapped) in serving false gods (idols).

In your minds you are thinking surely he wasn’t wrong about integration and saying to yourself, “what about in the kingdom of heaven?”. Daniel 2:44 “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.” This means that there will not be any little black children joining hands with little white children and walking together as sisters and brothers. For this kingdom is of Israel and it will not be left to any other people. Acts 1:6 “When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?”

Politics have never resolved any of our issues; therefore Dr. King has given us false hope and helped indoctrinate us into following sin by saying he had a dream. Jeremiah 23:25 “I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.” Verse 26: “How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;” Verse 27: “Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal [false god/Satan].” Verse 28: “The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully.”

Malcolm X's opinion of MLK

Apocrypha Ecclesiasticus 34:1 “The hopes of a man void of understanding are vain [worthless/unprofitable] and false: and dreams lift up fools.” Verse 6: “If they be not sent from the most High in thy visitation, set not thy heart upon them.” Verse 7: “For dreams have deceived many, and they have failed that put their trust in them.” Verse 8: “The law shall be found perfect without lies: and wisdom is perfection to a faithful mouth.”

Ecclesiastes 5:7 “For in the multitude of dreams and many words there are also divers vanities: but fear thou God.” His message was of systematic lies, he did not speak the words of God faithfully. He removed from the poor what was right and the opportunity to rebuild our people. Isaiah 32:5 “The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.” Decades have passed and by now you must see that the “vile” or wicked do not possess freedom even after the civil rights movement. More and more of our people are in prisons than before, being paid pennies for their hard labor while they are jailed. Neither the “churl” meaning wicked is blessed. There has been no blessing from God in the civil rights movement instead we are suffering the curses that are spoken of in Deuteronomy chapter 28 and Leviticus 26. To be bountiful means to have abundance; ask yourself are we bountiful or poor? In his speech he sought to cash a check, he told the poor that the way to do this is to put their faith on their oppressors. Proverbs 3:31 “Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.”

Integrating to a Burning House

Isaiah 32:6 “For the vile person will speak villany,…” When you are small you read stories with villains and they are viewed by you as evil. Well today the wicked speak according to the villains (the oppressors) and they are honored. Psalms 12:8 “The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.” In 1983, Ronald Reagan signed into law Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. While they celebrated that our people no longer sought justice from God, the conditions of the poor grew worse. The decay of families through drugs that were introduced into the community by those that signed into law a celebration of his birthday. Then envy or covetousness caused our people to cash a check that sold them. Currently, some look at his dream as fulfilled by the first black President Barack Obama, but has freedom grown? Look at the growth of racism, and the fact that our people are still marching for the same exact things that MLK was seeking.

It continues to say in Isaiah 32:6 “….and his heart will work iniquity [sin], to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.” Verse 7: “The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.” As this scripture clearly said; sin, hypocrisy, and error against the Lord is what was spoken by this man and it has furthered today, where we sink deeper into bondage (slavery). It is a difficult thing for many to understand that they are today slaves although shackles are not on their hands and feet. But by your sins you have become a servant (slave) to the beast of Revelations. 2nd Peters 2:19 “While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.” Shalam (Peace)!
